Sherian Anderson, Ph.D.

Dr. Anderson specializes in Health Psychology and has a Masters degree in counseling and a Ph.D. in psychology counseling both from the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Dr. Anderson has been with Tennessee Oncology since 2002 and has been practicing psychology since 1988. Before Joining Tennessee Oncology she was the Director of the Bloch Cancer Support Center with the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

In May 2003 Dr. Anderson became the only Psychologist in Nashville certified in biofeedback by the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA). Dr. Anderson's areas of interest include; biofeedback and psychological issues related to cancer diagnosis, treatment, and long term survival. Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Psychological Association.

Dr. Anderson sees patients at the Centennial Office, the Shelbyville Office and The StoneCrest Office. When away from the office Dr. Anderson enjoys camping, fly fishing, hiking, biking and spending time with her family and friends.
