Thomas A. Hunter, MD

Dr. Thomas Hunter is board certified in Radiation Oncology and has been with Tennessee Oncology since 2008.  He joined us from Radiation Oncology Associates, working currently at St. Thomas Hospital and formerly at Maury Regional Hospital.  Dr. Hunter completed Medical School at University of Tennessee and completed his residency at M.D. Anderson. He also has a BA from Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Hunter specializes in all adult malignancies but is especially interested in the treatment of prostate cancer, G.I. and CNS tumors. He holds memberships in AMA, SMA, ASTRO and ABS. In addition, he has been a part of the Department of State Medical Exchange Program.

Dr. Hunter sees patients at the St. Thomas (Dan Rudy Cancer Center) location. When away from the office he enjoys soccer, fly fishing, photography.
