Ruth E. Lamar, MD

Dr. Lamar is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine and has been with Tennessee Oncology since 2005. Dr. Lamar comes to us from The Consultant Group P.C. here in Nashville. She completed Medical School at University of Tennessee. Her undergraduate work was done at Vanderbilt and Columbia State Community College. She completed her Internship, residency and fellowship at Vanderbilt University.

Dr. Lamar specializes in all adult malignancies and holds memberships in the Tennessee Women in Medicine.

Dr. Lamar sees patients at the St. Thomas Office. When away from the office she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, travel, hiking and spending time with her family.
