Fernando T. Miranda, MD

Dr. Miranda is board certified in Internal Medicine is board eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology. Dr. Miranda has been with Tennessee Oncology since 1994. Dr. Miranda joined Tennessee Oncology after completing his oncology fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Miranda received his License in Medical Sciences from the University of Chile in Santiago, Chile.

Dr. Miranda Graduated with Cum Laude honors from the University of Chile. His Residency and internship were done at Saint Frances Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Dr. Miranda specializes in general oncology and hematology. Dr. Miranda holds memberships in the American College of Physicians, The Tennessee Medical Association, The Nashville Academy of Medicine, The American Society of Internal Medicine, The Nashville Society of Clinical Oncology and the Southern Association for Oncology.

After 29 years as a dedicated oncologist, Dr. Miranda has retired from full-time practice.  Although he may see patients for a vacationing doctor, he is mostly enjoying his time off and travel.
