FASCO (Fellows of the American Society of Clinical Oncology) members were recognized during the Opening Session at the American Society for Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, Saturday June 2, 2012. Dr. Charles Penley, medical oncologist at Tennessee Oncology, is pictured, far right, receiving his award. The event featured the latest cancer research in the areas of basic and clinical science. More than 31,000 physicians, researchers and healthcare professionals from 100 countries attended the meeting held at the McCormick Convention center in Chicago.
