Nancy
W. Peacock, MD
Dr.
Peacock is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine
and has been with Tennessee Oncology since 1996. She worked with South
Texas Oncology in San Antonio, Texas for two years prior to moving to
Nashville in 1995.
Dr.
Peacock completed Medical School at the University of Missouri in Columbia,
Mo. She received a BA in Biology from Central Methodist College in Fayette,
Mo.
Dr. Peacock
has a special interest in patients with breast cancer but treats adults with
all types of hematologic and solid malignancies. She holds memberships in
the American Society of Clinical Oncology, The Nashville Academy of Medicine,
Tennessee Women in Medicine, and the American Society of Breast Disease.
Dr. Peacock
serves on the Board of Curators for her Alma Mater, Central Methodist University;
She is active in her church and continues to participate in various committees;
She is on the board of directors for Tennessee Women in Medicine as the President-elect.
This year (2005) she is the co-chair for the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundations
Women's Event. She has previously served on the board of directors of Alive
Hospice.
Dr.
Peacock sees patients in our Baptist Hospital
Office.
Dr.
Peacock enjoys reading, listening to country music and watching her
children's sporting events.
