James Peyton , MD

Dr. Peyton is board certified in Medical Oncology. He has been with Tennessee Oncology since July 2003. Dr. Peyton comes to us from University of Tennessee in Memphis, where he received his Medical Degree. His internship, residency in internal medicine and his medical oncology fellowship were also completed at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Peyton has been practicing medicine since 2003. His areas of interest include colon, breast and lung cancers as well as learning about new advances in cancer therapy.

Dr. Peyton holds memberships in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American College of Physicians-American Society of Internal Medicine, Tennessee Medical Association and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Peyton sees patients at the Lebanon Office. When away from the office he enjoys spending quality time with his family.
