Kent Shih, MD
Dr. Shih is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. He has been with Tennessee Oncology since 2007 after practicing for a period of time in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dr. Shih received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and completed medical school and residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt University. Dr Shih then completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Shih specializes in drug development and is senior investigator for neuro-oncology at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute. He holds memberships in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Christian Medical and Dental Association and serves on the Discovery Health Advisory Board as well as Alive Hospice Board of Directors.
He sees all adult malignancies at the St. Thomas office and at the Centennial Medical Center Office.
