John Zubkus, MD

Dr. Zubkus is board certified in Hematology and Oncology and has been with Tennessee Oncology since July 2003.

Dr. Zubkus completed his undergraduate studies at University of Texas in Austin, where he obtained a Bachelors of Finance degree and graduated with high honors. He completed medical school at the University of Texas at Southwestern. His Residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship were completed at Vanderbilt University here in Nashville.

He currently holds memberships in the AOA Medical Honors Society, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.

Dr. Zubkus has interests in colon cancer, breast cancer, leukemia, and small cell lung cancer. He sees patients in both our Murfreesboro office and our StoneCrest Office in Smyrna.

When away from the office, Dr. Zubkus enjoys playing hockey, basketball, tennis and is an avid amateur golfer who has qualified for a USGA national event.
